Pioli ecstatic as Milan boss surpasses Ronaldo in Serie A

Stefano Pioli praised Milan's unity after the 3-0 win over Venezia

as he reached 400 Serie A games. Milan took the lead in the second minute through

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, before Theo Hernandez scored twice

in the second half to seal the win. It took Pioli 400 games to become the eighth Serie A

coach to reach the milestone, and he only learned about it

via Milan's communications chief. Milan moved ahead of Inter in the rankings with a

win at Venezia, ahead of the Nerazzurri's match against Lazio later on Sunday.

"This should be the year of confirmation," Pioli stated. "But there's a

big difference between competing and winning."
