Dick Van Dyke, dance with his wife
After impressingly singing and dancing with his much younger wife, Arlene Silver, for a Valentine's Day music video, Hollywood veteran Dick Van Dyke, 96, demonstrated he's still got the groove.
Arlene & the Vantastix, his wife's band, played a rendition of the 1958 Doris Day classic "Everybody Loves a Lover" in the video.
Silver, 50, begins the three-minute duet by crooning the popular love song while checking herself out in the mirror, which has received over 100,000 views on YouTube since it was released Monday.
When the singer and producer approaches her 10-year-old spouse, who is polishing his nails in a floral-themed chair, things get heated.
The white-haired "Mary Poppins" star marches up to his wife and begins executing the two-step and other sparkling synchronised moves after singing out a few lyrics.
The lovers kiss and hug throughout the play, and Van Dyke even covers a nude statue's privates with a piece of cloth at one point.
Tony Guerrero's trumpet solo was included in the video, as were performances from Vantastix support vocalists Eric Bradley, Bryan Chadima, and Mike Mendyke.
The fact that the star of "The Dick Van Dyke Show" could still cut a rug at over 100 years old astounded viewers.
